Wells Harbor - York, ME Fishing Report on 26th Aug, 2024 - 2

I ended my July wrap up with this statement; “It’s 1 Aug and mate Chase Trudeau wanted to spend his birthday with another night run.” August 2024 was quite simply our best month ever!!! No I know it’s not over, however the last week of August we will be in the mountains chasing Black Bears. As I sit lakeside and think back of the last 25 days, it was quite remarkable the amount of big fish that were brought over the side of the boat. Utilizing Live Eels at night showed to be very effective boating big bass. The night bite simply put is the best if you’re up for the challenge! Bait was off and on in the mornings, however one afternoon I’ve never seen some much on the surface. Mate Chase “ Chiefy” boated his personal best a 50” striper that he’ll never forget. Through the photo collection, you’ll see many personal best, some first, and the best of all many many smiles. Thanks to all that joined us this August! It’s one I’ll never forget!
